Uber Eats launched a new AI feature, “Cart Assistant,” that can automatically add items to your cart based on text or image prompts.
The two companies will start in the UK this year, before expanding to other European cities in 2026 and the U.S. in 2027.
With the new Live order chat feature, merchants can message with customers in real-time to do things like confirm replacements for sold out items, clarify special requests, and check in on dietary or allergy preferences.
